Cold starts heat up in 20 seconds and the banger doesn't actually get that hot. You can swap out the battery with a fresh one when it dies. I've had my crossing core 2.0 for a little over two weeks and for the first week I only had issues with the three blinking green lights every few sessions and I'd unscrew and screw everything back in and if that didn't work I'd clean it all. You won't have the same issue on a different mod, or if your resistance for the Lightning cup is more stable at room temp.
