You MUST open up the motor and remove the inner governor. It is VERY easy to do. The reason you must is there is a PLASTIC gear inside that controls the governor.

Before you start the process of removing the governor, make sure to disconnect the spark plug. This is a crucial step to prevent accidental ignition of the engine while you’re working on it.This is a basic throttle kit for the Predator 212cc. The governor will not be affected by this. Assemble the kit as shown. When threading the bolts in, move your wrench or ratchet in either direction a few times, this should make the threading easier.
