Also it's not the best for carry either, but it's an amazing gun and shoots amazing. For a range toy or limited matches, XC all day. XL had a nice trigger and all the Staccato bells and whistles, it's basically a big ass P. Usable in more completion, probably too big to carry but you could. Any ways you should decide on your own.

The staccato stuff is as good as anything else as far as the quality of the parts. Staccato internals are all wire edm cut from billet and dlc coated. A good gunsmith can do the same stuff with the factory parts that they can with good aftermarket parts. That being said if you like the looks or just want to do it EGW stuff is top notch.

The XL does shoot very nicely but XC does shoot noticeably better. I own a CZ TSO and TS2 and a Staccato C2 with a ported barrel/slide. They all shoot very nicely but I would spend a little extra on the XC especially when compared to higher end 2011's like the Atlas' or the NH Sandhawk. XC is the way. So smooth.So much for what people know. The CS takes all of these attributes and adds to them with a metal flat faced trigger. The trigger shoe is fit excellently into the frame with very little play. I hope in the not to distant future these become standard across the Staccato range.Staccato XL. I’m a fan of well done grips, the stock grip in my opinion was sub par especially since I have well over 12 guns with STI’s Costa or DVC grips. They are done for STI by Extreme Shooters. It really is a night and day difference. If you want a double stack 1911/2011 - you’re really limited to custom or Para/Bul/RIA, the Staccato is really the best choice (imho) for the money. Mine loves to 124 grain the best. It’s super flat shooting and just wants to go fast. Imho, since the grip is fatter, it’s feels more comfortable in my hand.
