Some people claim that there should be a 500 round break in period. I'm not going to tell you one way or the other on that issue. What I can tell you is to field strip and clean the gun before heading to the range. Be sure to lube everything good, and shoot as many rounds as you are comfortable shooting in a day.:rock:
I have 3 Kimber 10mms. A Custom Eclipse II, a Custom TLE II and a Camp Guard 10. The Eclipse and the TLE were bought new and have run 100%. The Camp Guard I bought used but it looked like it was hardly fired. The salesman told me the guy traded it in on another Kimber.
