Yes there was a trial conducted on a few SKT exams during the 2020 test cycle and the results were evaluated to guide the PFE questions. It was evaluated at the squadron and AFPC level, presented and approved at the top levels, and executed at the squadron level. The competencies measured align with the ALQs and are not the same for both grades.
