Blinking orange light on dell computer.
I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 notebook just out of warranty and the charging light blinks orange 3 times and then ususal blue. This cycle is repeated then. The battery backup time is about 1 and a half hour and the system apparently is working fine. The charging is also happening when the system is drained out. What could be the cause.
The front led lights blinks white for 4 times and then amber for 2 times. I did search online and there are many explanations like remove the back cover re-insert ram etc. Not sure which one to follow. This laptop was bought just 2 years back so really not happy. Normally when i connect my charger, nothing changes (besides my power saving settings), but now the power light flashes orange to white and back to orange non-stop.
