Cooking pot dayz.

After looting a ton of stuff including a cooking pot from a city I went out into the hills and I'm camping out here for a little while. I'm trying to find a way to cook some of my canned meat but I'm not sure how to use the cooking pot. I've tried using matches with it, adding water, etc but nothing works. ...Water from wells is safe and you can fill bottles from wells for safe water. well water is safe to put in bottles or to drink with clean hands. Falconpolat Sep 5, 2019 @ 7:37am. yeah i tried everything, there is no SS for inventory but i tried to drag pot into my inventory and no luck.After filling the cooking pot with water and drinking from it I am unable to remove the cooking pot from my hands. Restarting my game fixes the issue until I fill the pot up and drink from it again.The cooking pot uses 12 slots of your inventory but it has 12 slots inside it, so you don't lose any slots, the only hassle is that you have to pick it up or drop it to access the items inside of it. Attaching a gas stove and gas canister to it doesn't increase it's size.
