You are right! I missed lvl 10 didn't get an ASI. I ended up benching Lae'zel once I got Minthara. If I had stuck with her though I would have respec'd after getting the Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength in Act 3. You can dump STR entirely once you have those, max out CON at respec instead, and forego Heavy Armor Master since you don't need the +1 to STR anymore and -3 to nonmagic ...
