Amboss tests so many random facts that usually do not show up on the shelf exams. Imo, UW is just a better tool overall, for both shelf prep and Step 2. There's a reason why people stick to UW over Amboss. Amboss is only good if you are super confident with UW questions and you have extra time to squeeze in a few details.
