Jeep wrangler limp mode reset.

Dec 4, 2007 · I have a 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon TJ with 79,400 miles. I purchased it a year ago with 72,500 miles. It's in decent shape and has not given me any problems other than the rear main seal (dealer repaired at their cost) and the radiator replaced at my cost. My newest problem is that intermittently, my TJ goes into "LIMP" mode. I want to reset the ecu, and here is how i did it, maybe its wrong. so please tell me what to do right. 1 - disconnect positive battery cable. 2 - disconnect negative batter cable. 3 - hold both cables together for 30 seconds. 4- connect positive back up. 5 - connect negative.Jan 31, 2024 ... My 42rle auto transmission is currently in limp mode with a p1745 code. Also, briefly it showed a p0868 code as well. Prior to this, the trans pan was leaking pretty bad. So i changed the filter, gasket, and then just filled the fluid back up to good. The next weekend I did some light off roading and realized my radiator had cracked.
