Change the upper intake manifold, not just its gasket. The LIM gaskets that are most often recommended are the ACDelco metal gaskets. 89017816 is an ACDelco part number for yours but IDK if these are the plastic or the metal ones. Not sure which UIM is best. I replaced the upper plenum at 39k miles due to the upper plenum leaking coolant into the LIM. Now at 139,00k it's leaking coolant again. I pulled the lower plenum and am changing the gaskets, cleaned the LIM. the mating faces on the LIM and head aren't pitted or corroded. I'd more bet the LIM gaskets leaking at the "front" of the motor all over the timing chain cover.
