I went back into my Skills, selected a different X-Factor (Bazooka) and re-selected my original X-Factor (Run & Gun) and saved. This creates a new save that doesn't glitch when your primary franchise file does. I was 8 seasons in, my file wouldn't load. But I had a random save from a coach retiring 1 season earlier, and it loaded up.
