My team is level 5 and in an encounter with 7 tatzlwyrm, i got a total of 12 permanent strength loss on my team. Two fights ago, my warrior archer main character got 10 permanent dexterity damage. Case 1: bard is a dump class, just build what ever you want a level behind. case 2: you mix bard and second class to make a hybrid support. Case 3: bard, but with dips into other classes. case 4: strait bard, but new/different feats for something else. Personally I'm a fan of case 3.

Bow damage should not be incresed by dexterity, only the bonus to attack (hit) is affected by it. Strength modifier should apply on any bow damage if negative and only on composite bows if positive.
