#1 · Mar 25, 2022. I'd like to give a report on MY Shield Arms S-15 mags for my G43x. This is mainly my wife's carry gun. She has been packing it for over 15 months now and neither one of us has shot it over the last 6 months. I have cleaned it a few times over the months.

Big fan of the 15rd mags, they have been reliable, but not a fan of the metal release. The mags seem eager to pop out with a very light push of the button. Current plan: Test to determine approx how many rounds it takes to noticeably degrade or break the OEM plastic catch with the metal mags. The magazine is seated as I can't pull it out without engaging the release. Again, this only happens during reloads, and I never had this issue with the OEM mags so thins is clearly a fault of the magazine.
