The part in the announcement about the key being able to be read from a keydb.cfg or HK format is just regarding how MakeMKV can read it, afaik. To run MakeMKV until Mike updates the beta key message, you will need to set your system DATE back to before the expiration (20 July is good), start MakeMKV, then you can reset your system date to current.
