Jul 14, 2022 · If self-driving tech was my primary goal in a car (and I would love to have it) I would almost certainly go with Tesla today. But, self-driving capabilities aside, I am far happier with the driving experience I get from a Polestar and I am not trusting my life to self-driving tech in the foreseeable future. Charging an EV is more convenient than refueling a conventional vehicle. Instead of heading to a gas station, you can plug it in at home or work while the car is parked. For longer trips, there's an ever-growing network of rapid charging stations to rely on. Make the battery part of a pit stop.
