I really hate how necessary they made the various stages of Rathian spikes, while also making their drop rate super minimal. It's usually easy enough to get one per hunt, but to get through the various stages of her CB in my case, I need 3 Rathian Spikes as well as 12 Spike +, 3 Surspikes and 3 Gold Surspikes.

According to the hunter notes you only get them from tail carves. I've hunted 8 Goldians now, cut the tail on every single one of them, and haven't gotten a single Surspike. I'm convinced this material just straight up does not exist. Okay so I got 3 in 2 days.
