I checked with a service advisor at my local Honda dealership and she said yes, I can decline having the recall performed when having other routine service work done.That harness is $1,400 plus an amplifier if needed $500. PLUS LABOR!!! Kicker is the harness is not available and is on backorder. Oct 4 was pending in supply change. Oct 12 the harness is now pending (somewhere in supply chain). Oct 24 still pending.
