The older eps carry mrs didn't come with the shorter screws and you needed the extra plate to take up the rest of the threads, hence the 3rd party screws. I had a 507c in red, set to a 2 MOA dot only, manual brightness. My (former) carry Glock 19 MOS Gen 5 also had a 507c, with 30% cowitness black steel BUIS from Ameriglo.
