The tiers are just powers of 4 so they go 1, 4, 16, 64... but 64 = 1 stack, so instead of making the math harder by continuing to do 64 x 4 x 4 etc, just switch to 1 stack, 4 stack, 16 stack. I find this useful in early game when you don't have much inferium yet but you still want to craft a higher tier seed.All my inferium seeds are now upgraded to the highest tier ones and the center square has been replaced with a t2 growth crystal. Same 8 users harvesting and the hopper still collecting. There's a mod called "IE cloche compat" which adds this function to the cloches/Seeds but iirc the mod is broken but on the curseforge site of the mod the creator linked to another working mod.
