Tradovate vs rithmic.
The mainstream data feeds are CQG and Rithmic. Some like Ninjatrader or Tradovate are based off of CQG. I haven’t used IB for futures before, but their reputation for data is pretty bad. They used to aggregate their data (unusable in scalping), and they still have API limits for third party platforms, and their fees and margins are shit.

Awesome so far. I do about 80 sides per day. AMP has poor service and tradovate is a one-platform brokerage. Ninjatrader and Tradovate are two complete different systems. Let me explain NInjatrader is a locally runned program. Meaning it runs on your computer, where as tradovate is a web based application so it runs on the web. The one thing that ninjatrader has over tradovate is that it allows you to pretty much connect to any broker of your choice.

Rithmic cuz it doesn't lock me into ninjatrader or tradovate. This is because I use SierraChart and Jigsaw. SierraChart has the most stable data connection and excellent trade copier and most customizable charts. Jigsaw has one of the best DOM. The tradovate unfortunately only allows tradovate or ninjatrader, which has lacking features for me. Thanks Liquidcci. We have been in touch with Rithmic, and they have informed us that they are waiting for TradingView to take the first steps. However, we have not yet discussed this matter with TradingView. While it would certainly be nice to have the option to connect to Rithmic, we currently do not see a significant demand for it.

Apex now offers two different platforms. Their original operates on Rithmic. For that, they recommend NinjaTrader 8, which is included free with your evaluation and your funded account. Additionally, Tradovate (and NT/Tradovate Mobile) are now available, with slightly higher pricing than the Rithmic evaluations.
If you are trying to trade on TradingView, you need a Tradovate account with apex, not Rithmic.. and even then you still need to pay for data on TradingView that’s $5 a month. And to be honest, I wouldn’t recommend trading on TradingView because say you start becoming profitable, Tradovate doesn’t have ATM or bracket orders for group ...
