Honestly, I've never had her die during that quest. I loaded up a save I had from after she had been cursed, but before I cured it. Wandered around until she died and, yeah I couldnt resurrect her. But, if you go after Ployer and retrieve the lock of hair, you should be able to successfully resurrect her. #1.
