Less than half inch groups easy at 50 yds, using good SV ammo. At my age & eyes,I don't shoot as well as I use to. I think a younger fellow would have the ragged hole thing going on!Jul 17, 2017. #4. This McGowen barreled R700 will do this as consistently as the shooter can keep it together. It has shot several 5 shot one hole groups and sometimes it puts 5 in the .4s but it is a good shooting rifle for the money I have in it. Both were 10 shot groups. My CZ has a 1.5lb trigger weight and was outfitted with a leupold 3-10 mk4 m3. The 10/22 has a 4-16 pst which is a bit washed out and breaks at almost 5 pounds.

All three were equally accurate, and the best groups I could get with each of them for 5 shots at 50 yards measured 1/4". I used a 20x scope for the tests.
