Act ffxiv not working.

January 2023 in General ACT Discussion. act is constantly asking for firewall rule after patch 6.3 droped. befor patch it worked just fine. i looked it up and there is a rule for act, so i deactived it and made a new one, didnt work. deleted my created one and let act do it automaticly and it added the rule back, but still not working and the ...launch it before the game. Launch it at the character select screen. So you can just log out, open act, and log back in to your character. I've intalled it and I'm using the latest version of the FFXIV plugin. I'm also running as admin. For some reason, the program won't parse at all. There's nothing showing in the main log window. FFXIV-APP works fine for me, but I really wanted to try ACT.

I've already tried doing a clean re-install of ACT, unblocking the timeline zip before extracting, etc. Nothing is working. This is a huge patch don't expect it to work for a long time. They probably need time to patch it. ACT always got broken every 5.x patch so I’d assume it be that way for most DPS meters with 6.0 being oh idk less than 24 hours old. Updates always break ACT, you need to wait for update.
