Personally for a heavy bike I would run a tw6, 26, or 37. You don't need roller rockers unless you are running .550 lift and above. The tw6 is a .510 lift, the 37 is a .510 lift and the 26 is a .490 lift so none of these needs roller rockers. If you are a throttle twister and ride hard then the tw5 or tw6h is the answer, I like the 6 better ...The 254 just runs HOT! So far, it's doing great. More aggressive cams work better with headwork, higher lift needs stronger springs to prevent float, etc. Anyway, that chart has descriptions for the cams but honestly, the ...In my opinion and others, the 555 and the 777 underperform in the 103 configuration. I had Woods TW777, which worked well, but that being said, this configuration will be more stock as far as the engine is concerned. Meaning the pistons, heads, and whatnot will be stock. Zippers 575 or Crane 290-2 or S&S 570 all come to mind so does a Wood TW6. All of these are available in chain drive but if the bike will be racking up miles I would go gear drive. If gear drive is prefered the Wood TW5 could work well too, but may be noisier than the rest. The TW6 is the only "Bolt-in" grind of these.
