Soleil Carlos is a Brooklyn based artist, who signs her work under the name Mamasun Ceramics. Her work consists of playful and decorative yet functional pieces. She is drawn to using red clay body which pays homage to the traditional Filipino pottery, such as the "palayok and banga" (clay pot).
