It also gives you the versatility to access most spells and miracles, which makes it the best pure caster option. 30/30 and 45/45 are the most frequent stopping points for fth/int levelling.

The way you make pyromancy stronger is by upgrading the flame via the tutor you meet later in the game. Otherwise, a pyromancer with strength is real good for a beginner. Pick 1 focus: Str, dex, int, faith. Level that up along with vit and end to 40.
