As for feeding frenzy, I'm still testing it vs threatdetector but Ikelos smg needs FAR too many kills for FF so far. I'm highly recommended threat detector for a more immediately noticeable reload speed buff instead of needing 3-4 kills per perk proc to get comparable reload speed. Also, as a console player the thing kicks like a damn mule.

It used to drop from the Prophecy dungeon but got moved to the world pool this season. I think your best bet is to farm gunsmith rank packages, but it's not a good grind. The SMG is more stable and slightly less impactful which makes it easier to use at the cost of it taking a smidge longer to kill. The flexibility of range is also far superior on the SMG, which is the real selling point of the IKELOS, but it doesn't really make or break it for me.

This crafted gun is the most OP and they remove it making new players at a big disadvantage in PvP. I’m climbing the ranks but now getting out gunned by this smg with 70+ range stat. What a joke of a game. Meta gun and they no longer let new players obtain/farm for the pattern. No wonder this game isn’t popular.

The world drop pool is your only option. Spamming Banshee and world drop focused umbrals is your best bet. Focus Umbrals. You cannot get the ikelos smg from prophecy.
