Black Ops 2 for example, every time you want to play online, you need to sign out of your PSN, open the game, start a local match with yourself, end it, then go to online and sign back into your PSN.

All older COD games still work fine. This has happened a few times and it's always fixed eventually. You could be right tbh, MW2 is still on while Black Ops is down.
