I know I spent lots of time reviewing different rental companies and chose them. We are staying in Coral Bay mid Feb.
Dinner was back to St John Brewery and one last mint chocolate chip cone from scoops. Day 12 Just finished packing and will head out on the Crown 11:15 ferry, lunch at Tickles and eventually arriving in MD tonight.We also pack microwave popcorn, crystal light, empty water bottles, granola bars, BelVita breakfast bars, oatmeal packets, a few tea bags, ground coffee, zip lock bags, peanut butter, and tuna. Relatively speaking, St. John is a very safe place. We are not immune to crime, but most of our crime is of the non violent type, burglary probably the biggest. You will want to use normal precautions such as locking your car and villa, don't go looking for illegal substances, don't get falling down drunk and wander around town at night, that sort of thing. Save. Mary Phyllis was and is in Massachusetts. Mary Eileen and brothers are safe and were on St. John after Irma. Haven't heard since. I believe they are still on island. They lost Treehouse. I'm not a math whiz but that's about 50 degree differential from when we left Wednesday. We had noon flight from STT to SJU with 90 minute layover before leaving SJU for Boston arrival back in Boston around 5PM. Day started off perfectly.

We did tests in advance in late May and submitted them to the portal with no issue. We had green QR codes back to emails in 32 hours.

Our first trip to St John was our honeymoon and we did a 2 hour island tour offered through the Westin where we were staying. We had a local driver who gave us a great overview of the island. It was very helpful to get "the lay of the land" on our first day and guided us selecting which beaches to go. Both are acceptable and quicker than a PCR test (and only an easy nasal swab, not a brain probe LOL). Electric is about $100 if you don't have A/C and are very frugal about it. If you have A/C, and run it at night, you can expect to pay closer to $200.
