VSP has been my family's vision insurance provider for many years. They are outstanding and I highly recommend enrolling with VSP if given the opportunity. We get VSP through our dental plan Beam and we could not be happier. Usually just the negative comments appear here but I thought it would be good to give some positive and genuine feedback!

By going to a VSP doctor, and using VSP covered contacts etc. I don't think I saved more than about $80 on the exam and $40 on the lenses or frames.To get an exam is $30 instead of $100+. So at first, you save $70. However, our eyes are not changing and I have since just done online vision exams to renew our prescriptions for $30/each, which VSP does not cover. They give you a $140 allowance towards contact lens each year, per person.
