Staccato p review.

I just bought my first STI Staccato P 4.4" 2020 model. I personally love the grip. I am in Alaska and I just put 500 rounds through her in -1deg f. The grip was very positive and perfect for my large hands when I loose all feeling. It runs a variety of ammo just fine 147gr fenix all the way to winchester m1152. With that spring combo I am around 6k rounds down range. It gives a good recoil impulse and consistent ejection of around 3-5ft depending on ammo.

Both the chunk port/genghis comp and the ports are fun to shoot. Just depends on what you're looking for. The monsoon port will feel softer to the shooter where the stacc-ports are more a progressive feel which tracks faster when compare to my Omni (which feels similar to the chunk port).The Staccato-p Duo is on my grail list. Because the compensator deflects some of the force, you can go a lot lighter and still be quite reliable. I tried a 7 pound spring but it felt sluggish in the return. 8 or 9 pounds is the sweet spot. No reliability issues with any ammo.
