Slow blinking yellow is EITHER the weight sensor has been tripped, OR the dumb bonnet connection was interrupted by the thing rotating and bumping against the hood. Bend the tabs out to make a stronger contact, and possibly clean them with a dremel and wire wheel or an emery board.

What you are describing is a classic DFI failure. The pinch detect circuit is integrated in with the DFI. It will need to be replaced to restore proper functionality. If you are in warranty, you can go HERE and follow the directions for a fast flashing yellow light, submit a trouble ticket and they will contact you.
