The Phase 4 isn't sold below 60#. If you want a Matthew's at 50#, look to the Image. The riser on the Phase 4 is as long as the riser on the TRX 34. The Hoyt VTM may come in a lower poundage, idk. The bow draws a bit smoother than the Matthew's. Apples to apples. I bought the new Phase 4 which I thought shot a lot cleaner, felt a lot more crisp and definitely had a more solid back wall. I will say the Hoyt's DL felt short on both the 30 and 33 in comparison to the Mathews. I was surprised that the longer ata Hoyt draw cycle wasnt as linear as the 30. It had a small dump into the valley similar to the Mathews.
