Cleaning Old Mec 600 jr. I pulled out the old Mec 600 a couple of days ago. It had been stored at less than adequate conditions for 15 plus years ( in an old covered garage but no door). The loader had quit a bit of light to medium surface rust. I pulled everything apart and took a wire brush and some light emory cloth to it.

Upgrade the pre-crimp to the "spin-dex" version, this will allow to to achieve any pre-crimp you want. The original one was adjusted using fender washers and only allowed 1/16" adjustments. Once again, if your pre-crimp is black in color this has already been done. Get a new charge bar and a bunch of powder bushings.

(Been using a 600 jr for years and I am kinda used to dropping a primer on the station and moving on.) I was going to try to set it up after I get the final crimp station set. (more projects for later this week). The auto primer does appear that it would FIT on my Versa-Mec and 600 jrs. (the drop through tube would fit onto the press.)
