Mech 2 is better written, and Mech 4 has better campaigns. But Mech 5 is the first game to really nail the FEELING of being a Mech pilot as described in the lore. The waves of light tanks and choppers that you mow down, and the buildings you easily smash, give a real feeling of power to even the smallest Mech.
