This is completely wrong. The inputs from the dac to the amp have no bearing on the outputs to the headphones. Also the Midgard isn’t a balanced amp anyway so whether you use the 1/4 or XLR, the power output is identical to the headphones. You're totally wrong. Schiit stress it over and over and over.Also, Schiit covered the import duties for some reason. Maybe as a Christmas present or because of the patient waiting for Lyr 3. I am currently using a set of Shure 440's until I find something more comfortable. Every review I've seen Schiit gets plenty of good praise and the new ZenDac V2 has been getting good reviews as well.
