At first the gun shot great, but then the issue slowly developed and towards the end it would fail to fire every 5-10 rounds or so. I suspect it was due to the safety disconnect.

I have several 9mm pistols and noticed the P938 seems to have an issue with the primer metal flowing into the firing pin hole during firing the pistol. Small particles of primer metal then clog the firing pin hole causing the P938 not to fire. The ejected round shows the primer scraped and flattened.
