I asked this in the ecodiesel forum also but I thought I would put it here also. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has the same engine, I believe. There are not nearly as many blown, damaged engines in the JGC. In Canada, the only trims available with the EcoDiesel are Rebel and above (Laramie, Longhorn, Limited).

1 other thing the Pedal Commander will do: Reduce pedal response in eco mode to give a bit safer driving in very slick ice conditions. I normally use Sport Mode +2 on my GDE tuned 2n gen. Same EGR cooler, same engine - does not make a lot of sense that they are not part of the recall. Any ideas on root cause of the coolant loss and/or ways to push back on the dealer/FCA are greatly appreciated.
